Laura was Citi’s Global Head of Fintech Acceleration where she was responsible for the design and deployment of high impact open innovation initiatives to accelerate Citi's digital transformation. As part of her role she reviewed more that 2,000 startups, worked with more that 100 tech startup teams and visited more that 30 cities around the world in all 6 continents.

Before joining Citi, she was a founding partner and CEO of Broker Dealer and Fund Manager in Colombia. She is also a mentor, advisor and angel investor of several startups and an open innovation and Fintech thought leader.

Laura holds a Masters from MIT in Innovation (as a Sloan Fellow), is recipient of the MIT Legatum Fellowship and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics from American University in Washington DC.
